New Health Center Wing Opens, Expanding Mental Health Services

The Clearwater Band officially opened the new behavioral health wing of the tribal health center, doubling the capacity for mental health and substance abuse treatment services.

New Facilities

• 10 individual counseling offices
• Group therapy rooms
• Traditional healing space for cultural wellness practices
• Telehealth suite for remote consultations
• Youth wellness center with dedicated counselors

The $4.5 million project was funded through a combination of Indian Health Service funds, tribal revenue, and a SAMHSA grant. The expansion will allow the tribe to serve an additional 600 patients annually.
